Who here invests in stocks and how is it going for you? Im thinking of getting into penny stocks, i have experience in value stocks but nothing in growth stocks.

I am an avid investor. I am not much for penny stocks becuase I don't think that the stock market is a get rich quick tool. I spend more of my money in longer term Medium risk investments. They tend to yield a higher profit and the risk is less than it would be investing in high-dollar long term stocks.

Have you consulted with a broker?

I use Wachovia Securities (a.k.a. Prudential Securities) and have had a rather enjoyable experience.

Ahhh, heres my list of stocks im invested in

NALFX- Alt. Energy Mutual Fund- Medium Growth
DIS- Walt Disney Company...their new MMORPG game is all over the internet
ERIC- LM Ericcson Cell Phone Company & Telecommunications

I am, and im going well. Havent been burnt yet...

Well, lets say i have been, in a good way. I have lost alot of potential money...

I got out too early, and then have the share take off on me, in the last moment....

Eg, i got out for a 200d profit, and then the share rocketed 100% in 1 month, and missed out!!! ARGH!

As long as your not losing your own money then your doing good. Don't loose sleep over potential profits because youll become greedy and lose in the long term.

very true, but i was told they would go, but the ceo, haha... lame i know but i doubted it, as they were going flat for a few months.
