    Steps for a non profit

I was wondering if anyone can walk me through the steps of setting up a non profit organization. Are there any things I should watch out for and any specific ways to get money. Any help is appreciated
    Thanks

The non-profit is going to be an alternative for the court system to send kids instead of juvenile hall. It will be sort of like a boot camp giving them the necessary skills they need to succeed and become successful in the community.

I suggest for funds maybe apply for a grant through the goverment(they have it here in australia where you can apply for a XXX amount through the goverment) or alernative through the bank.

recruitment will be a good idea to write up your business plan, mission statement, etc and basically advertise around who have the same interests to order to go through with this plan.

resources take whatever you can.. im the sure community heartly welcomes non profits org to help the community.ask the police, family, friends, businesses.

hope this helps and good luck with your non profit organization,
