    Startup dilemma

    Hi guys,
I have building a business card selling website for 3 months and have some dilemmas.
Most business advertise or "brag" about their xxx years of experience in the business to attract customers.
My once I launch my site, it is well, established in 2009 or may be in 2010 and it will be a "grand opening" that may put me in serious disadvantage. I am afraid users will simply switch to more established ones, upon looking at it.
I do not want to lie by misleading that my business has started long ago which could cause problems later.

What do you think the best course of action to do.
    Thanks!

Just be honest.. try giving out some business cards for free in return for positive testimonials & reviews. Eventually your business reputation will build overtime.

You must be like a Texan. Ask any Texan about 'The Alamo' ...

Anyway, the point is: make your weakness into a strength. Sure, all those other companies have been around for year, but you are the new player. Market that.

Tired of the same old business cards you see day in day out? Come to <insert company name here> and be one of the first to get the next generation of business card designs!

EXCLUSIVE ONE-TIME OFFER: If you are one of our first 100 customers, you get the printing for HALF THE PRICE! But only if you order NOW!

    Something like that.

I actually tend to stay away from companies like that. If you know what you want you aren't going to want to try out some new business that claims they have business cards that are better than anyones, but the pricing is way too cheap to be of any decent quality.

I honestly think handing out free cards to a few businesses to show your cards are of good quality would work out decently. Or even do something like, "Try our cards for Free! Get 10 Free business cards! If you like them, buy more!"

tbh mate, you can get them free, or for a very little cost at vistaprint.

Dunno who the major company are in the US but they seem to be making Alot of money!

But yeah they may have 10 years of being a business, but clearly they are not doing so well or there would not be space for you in the market.

Just come up with a better USP
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.
I must create a system or be enslaved by another mans; I will not reason and compare: my business is to create.
