    Starting a Segway Advertising Company

Well guys i have come accrosed a new venture, Segway Advertising Street Teams,

if you have no idea what im talking about go to http://www.chariotmediaamerica.com and click on the portfolios section and whatch a video,

To start off im going to buy just one segway for around 4500, i already have one big corporate company whos interested, and as i get gigs the more i will increase me fleet. I also have a printing company who can print the signs on the segways, as well as a promotional staffing agency who can supply me with team member for a street team.

Also i plan to be advertising in New York city where their are thousands of potential clients, and putting a "put your ad here for your next ad campaign" sign on the Segway and handout fliers to suits see in the city and hopefully generate clients that way.

Anyone ever done anything similar? Constructive criticism is appreciated.

great idea, as long as the corporate sponsor will pay for the segway you'll be set

Well im looking at pricing the segways at 500-1000$ a day per segway per event, plus the cost of printing the banner on it.

wow, when I read 500-1000 for the day I thought it was too much. But if that is what the competetion is charging, good on ya. I think its a great idea and you could do quite well. Just make sure your goons attract attention, heh.

Sagways today are very much over-priced, but as far as you have company to pay for it, well - Good Idea!!!

I deffiantly will be negotiating when i get to the point where ill be buying 5-10, a local dealer also rents them for around 100$ a day so im thinking for the first event or two i can book i may just rent them until i build up my clients and portfolio.

I dont know if you could get away with this but i was at a charity benefit and they had girls with no clothes on just painted and they had vodka brands on them. Might not be legal out on the street but as a male it caught my attention
