Starting a business

Hello!

I am 16 years old (soon 17) and I am on the second of three years in upper secondary school.

I have for a long time wanted to open up some kind of store. And now I am planning on opening an e-shop. I got a great business idea, and some contacts that can help me.

So I have a question:

I am only 16 and want to study more after upper secondary school. Is it worth trying? Or should I wait a couple of years?

Cool

I'd say go for it! You'll learn much more from actually doing it, then some lectures somewhere!

Good Luck!

I definately say go for it! You are never too old, or too young, to try new things, and this is something that can lead to a serious career! Heck, if I can jump in this at age 43, you can jump in at 16. Experence is definately the best teacher, so start getting all you can, while you are still living at home, and don't have to have the "make-it-or-break-it" mindset. Take your time, learn all you can, and pay attention to the folks in these forums, you can really learn alot. I know I have. The best of luck to you!!!

I too say go for it.

You'll never know if it is worth trying unless you TRY IT!

Good luck!

check what the next big wave is if you're looking into an e-business. as of now it looks like social networking. also, you're going to want to start something that has low start up costs. you're also going to have to ask yourself questions like how determined are you to succeed? what's going to happen to you if your venture doesnt work? if it does suceed how many employees will the company eventually have..etc.
