Staring a E-commerce in California

Hello,
So this is kind of complicated and might be in bad wording but please forgive me. So i had questions with starting a e-commerce corp. in California. Doing my research i found that many people register there e-commerce corporation in states such as Delaware or Nevada, due to the high tax rates in California. I live in California but in doing my research i learned that compared to other states, California has one of the highest tax rates. Regarding this I have a couple questions:

1. What would you recommend personally in regards to starting a e-commerce corporation. To register in your home state(mine CA) or register in a state such as Delaware or Nevada with low or no tax rate?

2. For a clear up this means only the buyers in California would pay sales tax, due to me setting my home(office) location in California, right?

3. I've been doing my research but i need a little more help understanding NEXUS. How does Nexus work and what are the benefits and the faults for me having a corp in California but being registered in a state such as Delaware?

Sorry for making things a bit confusing, but this was a quick write up. i will try to come back and revise it. Thank You! in advance
