Hi Everybody,

I am just at the planning stage of a new venture. Without giving all the information (even though it isn't rocket science) I would just like to ask for some basic information if anybody knows.

How will I be able to purchase jerseys, flags etc straight from the producer? By purchasing from the club or another store, the margings will be way too low. Has anybody got any experience with this, and are there any legal implications?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, please feel free to respond by email if you are interested.

You would need to contact producers of the garments you are wishing to sell directly. In theory you should ask to become a dealer of their product and providing you buy wholesale from them, meaning you buy in large quantities then your profit margins will be high.

You need to find out the name of the production company who make them and talk to them directly. Its much easier if your already a registered company.

I do already have a few companies registered, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem from that aspect. I was more thinking of the club itself being the only authorized reseller (I know this isn't the case, really) so I thought I might need a permission from them to sell their merchandise.

I know you can get shirts really cheap from www.ioffer.com however the authenticity is debatable.
