sponsorship email questions

Hi

Im planning to contact some big companies such as myspace,facebook and bebo, asking for the possability of sponsorship by themselves or a small investment which will return advertisment of thier site on ours.

I was just wondering what information should be included in the email?

Should there be a business plan or will just a summary of my plans be enough?

And is there anything else i should definietly add to the email?
