    Sourcing special item from Japan?

My partner is going to Japan to buy high end sneakers and other items of value.

Looking to see if anyone is trying to source anything in particular from Japan?

I've had a few of those items that were exclusive to the Japanese market... namely clothing and anime-related goods.

I use shoppingmalljapan.com - they're a shipping company with an office in Japan that make purchases on my behalf and ship them to me in Australia.

Sure you're paying double the shipping fee and it takes 2-3 weeks to get here, but in the end, if you can't find it anywhere else, it's worth the wait / expense :P

we are sourcing items not easily attainable in the US and bringing them back.

shoppingmalljapan has a nice niche. however their site is very blah.
