I have an idea to buy a van and install solar panels on the roof. Living in a sunny country like Portugal these panels would charge up without too much delay. I want to have enough batteries installed within the van to store up enough power to be able to run a cinema projector and audio systems for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 5.
I want to screen independent films for free or for a very small charge, like 1 or 2 euros. The remaining costs (film licensing, transport / operating costs) I would like to be covered by local businesses for whom I would advertise prior to the screening.
I want the opportunity to be able to travel around and screen films in unusual locations, forests, castles, beach, etc.
I also intended to make and sell icecream.
I am posting this message here in the hope that people will offer their reactions to this type of business idea and whether they believe it could be a successful venture.
