So You Think You Can Drive?

Finally, I am underway into the business I have been working on for the last four years.

I have been working to promote some new motorsports events in the New England area.

I am calling it the So You Think You Can Drive?- Challenge

June 12th is going to be the first day! I am hoping I can get everyone registered in time. The first half of the day is an advanced driver training course, the second half of the day is open for an autocross event.

It starts here as So You Think You Can Drive?- In Control. Once I can get a couple of these events going I will start bringing out new challenges. The next step is So You Think You Can Drive?- Drift Challenge and more in the future.

I am excited now moving forward. The overall goal of this project is to raise support for constructing a New Motorsports Park. I have been interviewing for a partner to take on the web development, but I still have not found the right one. If this is still the case in the next few months I will just pay for the development and this unique opportunity will go away.

For those of you who have been trying to build a business, stay strong. Even in a tough economy there are still ways to accomplish your dreams.

If your from New England and you like driving you should come see about taking the challenge!

    Each driver will register...

So You Think You Can Drive? In Control is the most expensive. Doing this, safety is number one on the list, you might even get an insurance discount for participating. Each Insurance company is different but those in MA pretty much all offer a discount.

The next event I bring out will be a lot more affordable, I plan on keeping it under $100 per driver. I am working on sponsorship for the events. I have some new concepts for the website I am going to be developing. I finally found a developer who understands cost based advertising, and realizes that what I have is a competitive edge on the internet.

When it comes down to it I am just trying to gain support and have fun right now. I positioned myself so my day jobs pay my bills. Anything from this project stays with this project, paying developers, and bringing out new challenges. Once I get over the $10K mark I'll start thinking about my cut.
