So I finished my site...
So I finally finished my site. You'll notice that I did not post this in the "Review my Site" forum, as I do not want you to review it. You are more than welcome to check it out and let me know if you like it. But please no "Your site sucks" and "this, that and the other thing need to be fixed". I like my site, and I am DONE! That's the main reason for my post...I'm celebrating...and weather you like my site or not I am very happy with it and Super Excited that it is finished. -Katie

Look, Honestly its not good.
What shopping cart system are you using? if maybe I can sway you to using Magento - Home - Open Source eCommerce Evolved i think you will find its a very good system.
The design to me is outdated, its just not very good.
I dont think it will be very effective.

I disagree. I like it.
Its very simple, it looks professional, and easy to navigate. This is just an opinion from an average consumer (not a real website savvy individual). -but aren't these the most important opinions? -again just my opinion.

Congratulations on finishing your site! I know exactly how you feel! I tweak mine from time to time, but at some point you have to say, I'M DONE!

Awesome job finishing the site, it looks good. It does seem to be wider than my screen, I don't know if that's just on my pc, but you'll want to make the screen narrower so that your visitors don't need to side scroll to browse the page. The only other recommendation I would make would be to change the image tag on the splash screen from:
<img border="0" onmouseout="this.src='images/splash.png';" onmouseover="this.src='images/splashOver.png';" src="images/splash.png"/>
to:
<img width='446' height='441' border="0" onmouseout="this.src='images/splash.png';" onmouseover="this.src='images/splashOver.png';" src="images/splash.png"/>
It'll stop the page from 'jumping' while the image loads in.
Best of luck, I hope it all works out for you.

If the site functions, then great! congrats on getting everything working. I personally don't care for the design, but thats just my opinion.
In general, if the site functions properly and allows people to easily order items then I think you are good.

Like everyone else has said, if it functions correctly and people trust it enough to order, then it works for me.
The only suggestion I have is to go through the images on some of your pages that lead to product listings. I noticed, for example, that under Baby & Toddler, you have two different items listed with thumbnails of designs that don't actually exist as purchasable items. From a customer's perspective, that can be highly annoying. Seeing something on the site just to later find out that it isn't available can be enough to turn people away and not look back. Or in some cases, they presume that it must be available from some other site and will go looking for it elsewhere, again not looking back.
