Question So, am I supposed to feel something?

I've just made a huge leap of faith this morning!

I've been working on acquiring a call of duty website for a whole year. Now, five hours ago, I just sent the owner a lot of money for acquisition of the site. So, now I have this overwhelming feeling. I'm happy, but I have a feeling here... Is it a leap of faith kind of feeling, or is this the "entrepreneurial" energy that's pushing me to go further?

Its been happening since I got capital - I spent a lot of money on licenses like vb4, and the new xenforo forum software.

    Hm. Interesting. Thanks.

As it stands, I didn't have a foundation for my business, all that is changing. Thanks to my investment.

It is VERY hard to find a general call of duty website these days, and I have just acquired it.

And actually, this is me bootstrapping.

Grats man. Thats the feeling of achieving a goal, even if just a small goal. You are making progress and it feels good. Utilize it to propel you to your next goal!

That was kind of the thought I had at the time, I just didn't know what it was. At first, I was nervous about my feelings, so nervous that my hands were shaking. I have never done this kind of acquisition thing before. I mean, ya know the big ones.

I was trippin' that day. Life's wierd.

Why should he stop spending money? As long as he's spending it on income-producing assets and keeping enough of a cash buffer to stay alive in case things go wrong, it's all a part of rapid growth. Congrats on your purchase man.

Just an update to those wondering. I held off revealing the name until I fully transferred the site over to my [friend's] server.

The domain in question was CODForums.com and it costed me a little over 1 grand. I had been struggling with the site when it was on vB4, but after 6 months with vB4.... I moved the site to xenForo!

If you want to read more about the growth, it's at the official xenForo forums in this topic.

Shortly afterwards, I invested more. I bought MW3Blog.com and since then, it has been my best investment since January of this year. I have been getting over 100 thousand views, and pageviews. The next milestone is 100 thousand uniques.

These stats are from google's analytics program, there's an online version of this if you wish to learn more:
