I am 21 years old living in Socal. Looking to run a recession proof business. I see some smog shop for sale around my area for about $25-33k. I was thinking of getting a loan or partnering up with a buddy to be owners. I would hire a full time ASE smog certified mechanic to do all the work. I don't think I need to pass any tests do I? DMV requires smog checks....people will always come. Most smog places say they make about $70k + a year. Do you guys think its something good to run?
