lol... I feel semi-handicapped trying to figure this out... It looks simple enough.. .I'm just trying to see how I can tell when someone is calling me... or even what my skype id is..

hey wasn't able to spot this thread much earlier. I use Skype mostly for business calls or for sending/sharing files.
I'm sure you'll get the hang of using Skype real soon. It's actually not that hard to use.
Pretty soon, you'll be conducting meetings or presentations on Skype too by using the screen-share feature.
