I use skype regularly for my sales calls. It works great one on one and cost is hardly an issue. I'd only suggest getting a good headset and a good internet connection.

The only issue I've ever had was with a echo every rare occasion.

I haven't had any problems with drop outs of higher volume of people, but it can get more confusing the more people on the call. Just be sure to be organized and understand exactly how you want to structure the call. If you already have that experience than it shouldn't be an issue. Skype is a great technology, just be sure to have the right set-up (head-set, fast reliable internet connection, and become familiar with the layout)

You can also run test calls with numerous accounts to find and fix out the bugs. It doesn't cost anything for skype to skype members so it would be worth a try.

    Best of luck~

Works pretty well for me, I get an echo sometimes as well but I get it on my cell phone too so no worries.

Skype is a good VOIP tool for conversation and teaching. If multiple people are hooked on the your skype, then there would be voice breaks. So, have a high bandwidth if you are using for teaching purposes.

Skype's quality like any other VOIP (vonage, etc.) will depend mostly on your bandwidth. If you’re doing sales call with a lot of people at once you have to make sure you have enough bandwidth or you won’t get the crystal clear calls you want. You don't want your potential clients to hear a voice that sounds like its coming from half-way around the world.
