Thumbs up Skype for business anyone?

I recently saw a Skype ad on my website that said 2.95/month unlimited US/Canada. Curious, I clicked on it...yeah i clicked on my own ads lol

Anyways I thought the price is really cheap and you can also have your own online number (which is a normal number x-xxx-xxx-xxxx) for 30$/year.

    so let say (3$ x 12) + 30= 66$/yr for unlimited calls US/Canada not bad huh?

This is my 2nd week using it all I can say is wow...Quality is very good... I used Voipcheap before and thought the quality was good...but Skype just make it it sounds ridicule.

I am wondering if you guys used it also?

Oh by the way, they do have a 6$/month plan for other countries also.
I am thinking about using it for marketing issues also. For example let's just say I have a lot of customers from a certain area (Singapore for example).
I believe it is a good idea to specialize your publicity in that zone, either with local ads, local news papers etc. A local number will help tremendously because you will save money and also shows that you care about them, a certain sign of belonging which is always appreciate. The people living from that area will also feel more comfortable dealing with a local number. Globalization to the core lol

    Anyways just my 2 cents

yeah I use it - although im thinking of switching to another provider like RingCentral which offers a toll free number and multiple extensions.

Skype is a great starting point. I forward the calls to my mobile - and find I get a pretty big delay, but thats my only problem

What would the reception be like? I would probably stick with my regular phone service...
