    Question Six Sigma Black Belt

Has anyone taken or planning on taking this program, Six Sigma Black Belt?

If so, how effective was it for you?

I do not have a black belt (or green belt) but have taken classes in lean and six sigma, including an advanced DMAIC class.
It completely depends what you want to do with it and what your career is. IMO, its a fad, it will fade in a couple years just like TQM and re-engineering before it.
If you are actually working in a process improvement function though, there are some useful tools.

I have my Black Belt it is nice to have but putting all the indicatives into play in a business has yet to show major return on investing the time and money for training.

    Thank jasaunders.

I was thinking of signing up for it at Fisher College of Business at OSU. The program costs $5400+
