Shuttle Service
So I’m going to be driving from my hometown to Denver and then flying from Denver to Chicago where I have relatives. Then I’ll be driving straight north to watch the best nfl football team in the world play a game this fall. The price of an airline ticket from my town to Chicago is $419. The price of a ticket from Denver to Chicago is $118. So it’s a lot cheaper to drive to Denver which is a big hub airport and then flying to chicago. That got me thinking….
I’m wondering if I could start some sort of shuttle service from my town to Denver which is eight hours away. It would have to be cheaper than them driving so I’m thinking, buy a van or one of those short busses that hold at least 10 people and charge about 40 bucks one way. Fuel costs I looked up would be close to 100 dollars one way with one of those ford econoline vans it would be more with the bus. I always ask myself with my business ideas would I pay for it? I think I would just as long as it’s cheaper than driving down there myself. And I think when you factor in long term parking the cost of fuel for yourself and wear and tear on your vehicle it would be cheaper. \
Throw some feedback my way and let me know what you think.
