Using Names in URLs

I think it is a good idea to brand your name and your own URL if you are an expert in your field and/or you are selling your own created works.....

Of course if you are launching an online business, Marketing 101 tells us that your name should say what you do....for example we have worked on the following domains all which are self-explanatory...

BreakingNews.com
AllFreshSeafood.com
UNeedAPart.com
MedicalRecords247.com
BagelBoss.com

Makes sense right?

I have my name domain as does my wife. I think it's great - plus when you give out your e-mail if someone knows how to spell your name then they will be less likely to screw up your e-mail address.

My main e-mail is me@firstnamelastname.com - no one ever screws it up.

Yup... I still have a ton more pics I need to get put up there. Cooking is my hobby... it relaxes me after a long day in the trenches...

Chris Benjamin Consulting LLC... pretty obvious I'm a fan of it.

Plus if I have a change of heart and decide to consult on knitting, I don't have to change my name!
