I've been trying to find some places where I can work on a business, project, or even job with short-term money in mind.

I'm working on a magazine at the moment, but even if it becomes successful, I won't see any money until at least a year or two.

I looked around for part-time jobs, but my location, lack of car, and the time needed for the magazine makes it hard to hold down any decent job.


Does anyone have suggestions for businesses or jobs I can do at home that could bring in some income, without dedicating great amounts of time to? I'm not trying to find a get-rich-quick scheme, just something that will bring in a little money to tide me over.

What I've been trying to find are things that simply bring in money in the short-term (without the extensive startup phase of businesses). I've got enough money to last me a few more months, so security/steadiness isn't a great concern.

Do what it takes to hold down a job so that it can feed your own business. It's worked for many people with great ambition, and it'll work for you - with the right attitude.

So don't give me this, "Oh..it's too far..blah blah." Because Life is three things:

1. What do you want?
2. What does it cost?
3. PAY IT.

WebHosting can be lucrative, certainly it was the reason I launched in 2002 - now things have grown beyond anything I could imagine!

Well the situation isn't urgent, since I've got enough money to survive for a few months.

I'd rather try for smaller businesses that would teach me a few more entreprenurial skills than a job. Right now I'm selling/buying mobile phones at campus, but so far still thinking of other stuff.
