    Serious Inquiries Only Please

    I need help!

I have a business that is poised to be one of the largest franchises operations in our industry. I have two locations (beauty and retail)now that are doing very well but I have hit a brick wall. I need someone to help. I have interviewed many investors, some very wealthy, but none that have the experience to build a solid franchise, and take me to the next level.
There is little doubt about our growth and brand. We have just recently been asked to appear with Terry Bradshaw on his new program "Today in America". We have been asked to appear on countless shows, have been given access to awards as the best new franchise concept, but we are not ready for the bigger stage...yet! We need help. An investor yes, but a business partner who has build a franchise system in the past. It has been mentioned we should have at least 400-600 locations in 10-15 years.

Any suggestions where I can find such a person?

You need to disclose more information on this, because at first it sounds like MLM

Also anyone who has worked in franchising will not want to help unless you until there are more details so asking for serious inquires with little information indicates suggests or gives the impression that you either don’t know what you’re doing or are being vague because it’s MLM.

I’m not knocking you, I’m just saying you need to disclose more information.

I don't know. If the product/service being touted here is particularly easy to set up disclosing all the details in the public forum rather then encouraging PMs could put them at a disadvantage.

Of course, this level of vagueness is pretty bad.

Depending on what your industry is, take it to a Trade Show.

You'll find credible contacts there, not necessarily investors. Credible investors come from networking.

Take a look at the franchise leaders in your industry. Either find a way to network to them, or find a way to get in there coldly (shudder). Be prepared with proper market research on BOTH your industry and market.

    Get an exec summary together.

I am sorry if I don't believe you about all the hype and media invitations.

You say you have two locations running, how would someone go about giving you a franchising award at this stage?

Surely you would understand that going on a respected TV show (if you were invited), to promote your company would be a perfect way to find the right investor due to the exposure...?

I do not understand how you claim there is so much potential though you are not ready to show anything to the media? When does the potential start? How are you supposedly so widely recognized already?

Bottom line - you are asking for a high level experienced and successful franchise builder on a young entrepreneur forum, after turning down 'countless' TV show appearances etc (in which experienced business people you could assume may watch?)

    Just doesn't add up sorry...
