i did create a topic regarding my website.
mybreakarcade.com has PR 0.
mybreakarcade.com/blog has PR 2.
mybreakarcade.com redirects all traffic to /blog. Should I move all my /blog content to mybreakacade.com ? The problem is that my /blog has quite a high traffic already. One of my blog post appears number #4 in Google search "Plasma Burst".
Moving them would be risky.
Any help on this ? What should I do ?

Now, for competitive keywords like "web design" or "real estate agent" you have to know what you are doing.
Monsurvey1, SEO is not just "backlinks". A lot of factors determine your rankings (read my blog for more details). Some of them are page titles, domain age, frequency of updates, website architecture, and anchor texts. Backlinks are very important, depending on how legit they are and the authority of websites linking to you. A high-quality link is worth more than 100 low-quality ones.

Talking about getting a rank to your website, for a week or two, you can get a page rank to your site. I agree to Zekell, for competitive keywords its very difficult to achieve. There are lots of high quality keywords in diff search engines. And to tell you its difficult to race with them (the high quality keywords).

Great stuff here!!!!!!!
.
Zeke, I am #1 on the seo. I didn't do much to get there. Basically I joined a forum that related to my profession and placed my link on the sig. The tags were already there through my web design, I did tweak them a little.
.
I have a competitor who is getting competitive with me. More so with ranking rather than work. Its really become more of a game.
So here is my questions
What do I need to do to stay #1
How do you target area, profession, etc.
What is important for service/trade business's like myself

1. Does DOMAIN AGE matter for SEO ?
2. Do .com carry a better weightage then other .tld ?
3. I have heard that country level top level domains ( hosted locally ) rank better in local search results then .TLD ? Is it true ?
4. I have also heard that if the country level domain ( eg .in ) is hosted on a different country server eg. USA server, then it will fare better in USA search results compared to local search results. Is it true ?
