    Sell Your Stuff on eBay

I know there is already a franchise (iSold It) and plenty of copycats that offer to sell people's items on eBay. However, the closest iSold It to me is about 1.5 hours away and there's nothing like it in my area.

I want to start up my own store doing this. The way I see it, now is the PERFECT time to start. Where I am located, the economy is pretty bad, jobs are scarce, and gas is $4+. I am sure people would love to sell some stuff they have laying around the house to make a couple extra bucks!

I figure I would start off cheaper than iSold It and charge 20%-25% to help get people interested since I will just be running this myself anyway and if this thing does well, hire some employees and raise the percentage to 30%.

What do you think? I think it's a proven way to make some money and has a low start-up cost.

By the way, I am already an eBay PowerSeller and have traded on there since about age 10 so I can definitely sell stuff!

I have noticed a big trend of people leaving Ebay after the big price increases of late to start up there own website, what seems to be happening is they are still using Ebay to sell items but reducing the amount they sell as the site picks up they then close there Shops down. The have a massive exposure no question about that but if done right a website can bring in the same type of revenue and many earn more.

That's a great idea but I don't know how I could incorporate a site to sell these items on. Because I think customers would prefer to have a maximum 2 week turnaround and I don't think any site other than eBay could possibly do this.
