Rich Under 25

I was just thinking to myself, and thought I would share. Do you know any individuals who are lets say under 25 years of age and are very wealthy? By very wealthy I mean they have created their own empire, with little or no help from their parents, and are people the world should look up too? What are some of their qualities, and in what field did they find so much success in? And if you would like share anything else you deem worth knowing. This should be a person you know or ahve spoken to who is not a celebrity nor a famous entrepreneur, yet that is. I want this to be a motivational thread for all of us. Thanks for sharing!

Under 25 no... Under 30 yes...

I mean there are tons of examples out there of people who made millions by 25... Richard Branson for example. On this site you may have a handful of people who were involved in starting companies worth over a million dollars by the age of 30. I've yet to meet anyone on here who has made $10M+ at any age...

The only peron I know of personally who has achieved this is my grand-father. He started his career as a sales rep for a vetenary pharmaceutical company and after a few years was put in a position were he had no choice but to start his own company. He started in his basement and grew very rapidly to being a big player in his field at that time.

Everytime I speak with him I have a better feeling about tomorrow and myself. He is an incredibly passionate & positive person and has the gift to share this positiveness with others. After a conversation with him I always come out feeling a winner. I guess he was able to auto-generate this kind of feeling for himself and was always in a mood for success and that utlimately made him a success.

There is this saying I love :

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

It all boils down to your thoughts!

I don't know anyone who has become wealthy by age 25. I am 27 and though I may not be extremely wealthy, I do pretty well. I am home 24/7, I own my home, I own my car, bills are paid, and business is great. My wife and kids have more than they actually need, but I am glad that I am able to provide that for them. Wealth is what you make it. Dollars do not make you wealthy.

What are we calling wealthy? I know several guys under 25 who have made at least $1M so far in their careers. I'm 20 and have touched that mark.

That being said - the people getting the press are not necessarily the ones making the money - and there's a difference between getting VC money and actually generating profits.

I know many people have over i million dollors before 25 years , one guy did business started at his 16 years old, now he is 24 years old ,but have 2 factoies.

Exactly, and as many of the successful entrepreneurs around the globe say, stop talking about it and start doing it. I think that is a major problem with people who are business minded, they never actually do it, they read into everything too much and never give it a go.

A great thing that Richard Branson says in a book of his I am reading now, is that people rely too much on what others have done and think they have to do it the same way. He says the really successful people forged their own ways of doing things, and their own ideas are what made them better than the rest, who just tried to copy exactly what everyone else was doing.

Edit:
I think now there is FAR too much thought about being a millionaire by a certain age, those people are more likely to not make a cent as they spend too much time worrying about that, and not enough time actually running a successful business.

I know some people who made a lot of money during the dot com and nasdaq bubbles. Friends under 25 who took advantage of when oil went parabolic a few years back (options). The secret is never feeling content, keeping your eyes peeled and jumping on a good idea when you see it (immediately).
