    Rich dad poor dad

I ve recently attended a 2 hour advertising seminar for Rich Dad Poor Dad. In this two hour seminar they introduced some of Robert Kiyosaki s concepts and ideals. The seminar further offered a three days course at 500$. Has anyone taken the course and have you experienced any benefits from it.

Course seems a bit expensive. Why are they any different than his books?

I have some stuff from one of his courses (got it from a friend). It's good to help you get thinking... I don't know if it is worth 500 though.

This isn't "Rich Dad" per se, it's actually a disguised Russ Whitney seminar. Russ Whitney is the king of scam seminars, with each seminar existing to upsell the dupe. They don't actually teach you anything. Whitney also has a nasty habit of threatening anybody who says anything bad about him with a massive lawsuit in order to silence them. He did so effectively with a website forum called Creative Real Estate Online over forum posts by members. Whitney is a turd. The seminar "invitations" have a return address in Cape Coral, Florida, the home of Whitney's empire.

With Robert Kiyosaki effectively out of business due to a megalawsuit between him and Sharon Lechter over the rights to the books, Rich Dad Corp is pretty much gone and the "coaching" service he was offering has been cut loose. The only thing left is Rich Dad Education, aka Whitney Education Group. Whitney has found that if he paints his seminar poo purple people are fooled. It's the same old Russ Whitney, only using the Rich Dad logos. They cover a handful of stuff that you can get from the book, then spend the rest of the time telling you how much money you will make...IF you buy the next seminar.

Unfortunately, in these times every seminar scammer is coming out of the woodwork promising an answer to one's financial problems, with said answer usually involving a large transfer of money from you to them. You don't have the money, of course, but they don't care. This may blow up in their faces now that credit is impossible to get.
