Return on $150,000 investment

Im just wondering what would be a fair rate of return on an investment of $150,000 over 4 or 5 years. I am looking for an investor and am looking for an idea of what to offer as far as interest goes. Anyone have any ideas?

I might be wrong, but I don't think most would touch something like that for less than 10% a year and that would have to be with a rock solid business plan.

Do you have experience running a business/partners that do? How much sales exp do you have (you'll obviously need to find advertisers)? Do you have good sales reps? Do you have any clients lined up already? Do you have exp in the advertising industry?

These questions and many more will determine what would be a fair rate. Give a more detailed explanation which answers these types of questions and then someone may be able to give you a ballpark rate to think about. I personally cannot.

A business plan means nothing. It's all about who's running the company. And as for the $150K, the amount invested doesn't matter, only the ROI.

There is no real answer to that kind of question, the amount of return you get is dependent on how hard you want to work.

Can you explain why you think a business plan means nothing?

I agree with eliz4biz that a rock solid business plan is a must.
