    Lightbulb Retails Business Tips??

    Hello,

My names Kay, 25yo from Australia.
I have recently sold of my house and have brought a grocery store.

Since i took over, and changed its brand, i have been able to maintain the sales,
the business is going fantastic, but its steady, the sales are the same every week, trying different approaches, new products, catalogs, retail placements.
but i cant get the the sales to increase.

the sales are weekly 40K, i want it at 50K(eventually).
im looking for any ideas that are out of the box, maybe something i have over looked or not even thought of.

any idea offerings? im justing trying to pick others brains.
its an IGA store if your curious

develop interest of your customers in your store, give them something extra that others don't give (even if its a smiling face and a lil chit chat while billing them). Help them out with finding the products, and suggest them products in which they can save extra. Give them something, even if it costs you a few cents, but customers will always remember a store that gave them a gift, for example, a heart keychain for upcoming valentine's day, or even a free greeting card for valentine's day wishes, that they could fill out and give to their loved ones.
the point is, give them something extra that your competitor stores don't give. That will help you retain and grow your customers.
