What are some products that offer a good profit margin and are in demand? I know it is probably hard to answer it but I have tried to sell a few products and the problem is always, if the product is cheap, let's say, some jewelry piece, you buy it for $1 and sell it for $4, good profit margin but you need to sell a lot of them to start making good money. Cars, you can make thousands of dollars selling one but it will take you a long time to sell one and you can get stuck with inventory. I tried video games but the profit margin is too small. Tried computers, same thing, almost impossible to buy at a wholesale price where you can make decent profit. Is making your own products or importing from China really the only way to run a profitable retail business?
