Resources for naming a business

What resources do you guys typically use for naming your business? Are there any good tools out there for finding good, available domain names? After spending last couple of days, trying to come up with a good name for my new online business, I am hitting a wall! Seems like all good names are taken

Try looking at foreign languages for inspiration, like Latin. Using a free online translation service makes this simple.

My business, Incipi, is named after the Latin root word for "start" or "begin".

I usually just play around with words that I think look cool or sound relative to my industry. For example, I'm starting a software company and I'm going with Santric as my name.. does it mean anything? Not at all, it just looks cool as shit and I think it sounds cool as well. I also own Dregun.com , which sounds like a video game or something dark/mysterious. Hiveon is another one of mine that I originally registered for a custom computer business and decided not to follow through with it. I could go on for hours..

Getting a good domain name of your choice is really tough now. All the possible combinations are taken especially if the domain contains search phrases. What have you named your online business? Are you looking for a domain which matches your company name or a domain which has keywords in them?
