How can I found out what kinds of profit a certain sector makes?

I wanted to sell computer components how will I know what profits are made in this sector?

Basic google searching, phone calls, networking, and sometimse some good old fashioned detective work. To compare prices sometimes we call competitors and ask what theyre charging. If there is a buying or lobbying group for your sector they also have good info as well. Hopefully that helps.
