Recruiting Business

Hello All,

I was curious if anyone here has ever started a recruiting/staffing agency?

Please tell me was difficulties you have had as well as success.

I own a recruiting company in the DC area and am having some difficulty with growth. Everytime we have the money to invest back into the business we end up back in the same spot-no growth. It seems like we just cannot break a certain level of business. You would think after 5 years it should almost be running itself.

Never started one but have a friend who owns one; she's had ups and downs. Is your struggle with your contracts or your receivables and getting them on time? What have you analyzed to be the problem? Obtaining and keeping corporate contracts has been one of her biggest successes.
