Recommended Books for the internet YE

Hi this is my first post/thread and I thought this might be a good idea for people like me who stumbled upon this site just looking for information and advice on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Personally I am a full-time college student interested in starting a website or 2 while in college to develop some revenue. The thing is I dont know much about e-commerce, online marketing, and so on but am very interested in learning about the money making oppurtunities online. Please respond with your most recommended books that you feel gave you the know how to get yourself in the game and start making money.

There are a lot of good books out there for the young entrepreneur. Most recently I read, 'The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur' by Mike Michalowicz, that's in my opinion the best book for young entrepreneurs getting started. Some other good ones are 'You Call the Shots' by Cameron Johnson, and 'E-myth' by Michael Gerber. You should also read, if you haven't already, 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' by Robert Kiyosaki. That should get you fired up.

Yea I just took out Rich Dad Poor Dad and Friedmans The World is Flat. Im also pretty p'd off because Michael Michalowicz spoke at my schools entreneur meeting the other day but I could attend because of conflict of schedule. I plan on reading his book also when I am done with the two I mentioned prior. I would like to also see some of the books you guys read in order to gain knowledge more specific to the skills you use in your field of business. Personally I would like to hear of some good books for online marketing and the basics of web site development/maintenance.

you missed out if you missed Mike speak. For online marketing advice, there are numerous blogs and websites that talk about it, you could probably save some cash by using those resources instead of books. For website maintenance, find someone to install a content management system (wordpress, drupal, or joomla) onto a server for you, and use that. It would be a waste of your time to go in and really learn about that kind of stuff if you're not really into it.

See You at the Top by Zig Ziglar is the best book I've ever read. Maybe it was just the timing, but it had a profound impact on me in several areas of my life.
