    Real small start

    Hey,

I'm new here, and it's interesting, 'cuz I came here to find out more about e-commerce, but I ended up facing a gold-mine of resources... Sweet deal. Anywho, I'm not sure if I've got the right idea posting up here, but I'll take a swing at it.
I handmake toys and jewelry out of recycled rubber and other scraps (fabric, etc.). Currently I'm just selling to friends, friends of friends and at one small Farmers Market. I just want to see if anyone has ideas as to where else I could sell these things - things being Devil Sticks/Juggle Stix/Dragon Sticks/Flower Sticks. The toys go by a lot of names, but the most common is Devil Sticks.

So, if you've got any ideas as to where I could sell these - festivals... that's all I can think of - anything would be very much appreciated.

Oh, right, I'm thinking of setting up an online store. Is eBay any good? I also heard that Google's coming out with a 'shopping cart' system, too... Forgive me, I don't know what else to call it, it's always just been a shopping cart...

PS: please be nice - I'm a new entrepreneur as well as new to this site - so I'll admit that I'm pretty nervous.

About selling online - you could use something like yahoo stores (premade everything, easy for newbies) or oscommerce (free online store - bit harder to use)

    Also, Welcome!

unless your currently driving a lambo, you'll have to take my word for it until you get the chance... that a lambo is a much better car than the tin cans we call ferraris..... ferrari has its place but if your looking for a better car... a lambo gal or murc will do justice...

The Murci is overweight, and the Gallardo is an Audi in a Versace suit (not that there's anything wrong with that, really).

I'll take a 360 Challenge Stradale any day, but I also have a greater tolerance for performance-over-comfort than most people likely do.

If you like lambos, your username should be this:

    1-7-4-10-2-8-6-12-3-9-5-11

(points if you know what that number sequence is)

The murci is sex on wheels......period. The Gallardo is it's little brother.

I used to love the 360 / 360CS, but once I started seeing the murci around and next to 360s it an easy decision for me Get that prancing donkey away from me

(Looks like we took over this guys thread )

Actually, it's the firing order for the Murci too, or really any V12 Lamborghini that I'm aware of.

And while I admit the Murci is a nice looking car, a CS would smoke it on the majority of circuits and on real-world twisty roads. Unless you're buying it to impress girls or something. The Gallardo would do better, but it's still a heavyweight compared to a Stradale.

    Give me an FXX, lol.

I'd buy the Murcielago for the looks and V12 grunt. The looks match the badges - A lambo is a sharp-edged raging bull while a Ferrari is a smooth prancing pony.

Yeh the FXX is a nice car, in fact its the only car picture I have ever framed and hang on my wall

I like Ferraris... They're shiny - usually. But I'm stuck on the Nissan Z... Anywho, for those of you who didn't sidetrack me into cars (even though I do like them), thanks for your advice - thanks for the welcome, F360 and Paul.

I didn't know that Yahoo had an online store option - has anyone tried it? And... (Forgive my ignorance...) I've never heard of oscommerce - I take it you can just google it and something relevant will come up (that isn't porn.)?
