    Exclamation Real Serial Entrepreneurs

    Most entrepreneurs want to refer themselves to as "serial entrepreneurs", which seems like they may not really have a clue to the meaning of the word, serial entrepreneurs.

    And for a minute, just forget about the hype of the Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Steve Jobs, etc.

    The real serial entrepreneur is Scott Jones (http://ww.scottajones.com). Scott Jones is the definition, the epitome, and the true serial entrepreneur. I admire him.

    He's not so well known in the mainstream public views, but he has created some of the world's best, highly used, but may be underrated companies and services than anyone else.

    "Ever heard of voice mail? Well, when Scott was only 25, his company Boston Technology invented the system used by nearly all the telephone companies around the globe". (ChaCha.com, founder too).

    Are you, or do you know any other serial entrepreneurs?

    I know you don't like being asked questions like this, but I think it's necessary for answering your question. What exactly does it take to be considered a "serial entrepreneur?"

    I would consider a serial entrepreneur being someone who has successfully started and built more than...

    No, wait, let me just go to Wikipedia and copy their description, it saves me time to type. It's late any way.

    Wikipedia defines real entrepreneur as;

    A serial entrepreneur is an entrepreneur who starts a number of new business after having already started and exited a previous business venture. An entrepreneur is guided by the belief in a market opportunity for a particular product and/or service. An entrepreneur follows an inspiration and is able to motivate others to follow them. Entrepreneurs are willing to take on a personal, professional and/or financial risk. In contrast to an entrepreneur who starts a single company and operates it as a career, a serial entrepreneur may treat entrepreneurship as a profession. Successful serial entrepreneurs have

    - the ability to repeatably recognize a market. He/she might rely less on personal intuition and inspiration but on a analysis on the market opportunity.

    - the ability to repeatably create a product or service. A serial entrepreneur is focusing on a repeatable business processes.

    - the ability to repeatably motivate individuals/teams and build an entire organization to follow in his/her pursuit

    - the ability to delegate and surround themselves with talent that complements their own.

    Haha, I just did a spell check on that Wikipedia paragraph and found so many typos. Why don't they spell check their stuff?

    But, I think Scott Jones is the definition of the above paragraph and more.
