Anyone intersted in investing in real estate projects. I will be setting up a REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) that will be doing projects that consists of rehabbing and devloping properties to sell for profits. Initially we will be looking to do one project per month. Is anyone currently apart of a REIT?

do you have funding for this type of thing? my father owns a developing company and land and other commerical and residental projects arent cheap. They just bought some land to build a development on and the land alone cost 20million then on top of that there are material costs and labor to build. You dont see a penny of profits until you sell quite a few houses. Also if you just want to flip houses, it's not as easy as it looks on TV. to make a real profit you either need to buy the property all cash or fix the house and sell it in 1 month or maybe you can get a longer grace period but i dont know. Im sure you already knew this but you hear alot of people who want to do realestate development and think a bank will fund their whole venture which is not true unless you have a stellar plan. If you have any questions i'd be happy to help i've been hearing about these projects for 20 years now from my dad so i've learned quite a bit just over hearing phone calls and going to the office with him
