When I started out over a year and a half ago I posted some of my first logo offers on YE.

I have gotten some really solid long term clients that have turned into great business partnerships. When I first started out I offered a waaaay to low price for logo design at 20-30 dollars.

Because I did this I set myself up to be the "cheap" designer.

After gaining a HUGE amount of exposure and experience over the last year and a half my business has changed to cater to a higher budget crowd. I have slowly inched up my prices where they are today.

Because I offered such a low price awhile back I still have YE members wanting this lower price. Unfortunately offering such a cheap logo design service (i have realized) takes away from the value of the logo designing process and is extremely unprofitable.

This means no more e-mailing about 20 dollars logos. I have recently given a few members a big discount on logo design simply because I know there budgets where limited. But after them I need to stick with a new target audience.

Its just amazing how much someone can learn and change in just a little over a year. YE has been a contributor to that change. I am proud to be in another level in the Design world and be able to move away from the "cheap" designer label into something, not necessarily better, but new and exciting.
