We all know there is money to be made on the internet, yet the opportunities we all see seem like variations of the same old thing. Cheesy sales pitches that are ultimately geared towards making the promoter of these sales pitches money. Sure, we could make money with these opportunities, there is a chance to make lots of money, but the vast majority don't. In all actuality only 3% succeed while the other 97% fail.

I find that I'm asking myself where is the opportunity on the internet that allows us to buck that trend? Who can I partner with that will dedicate actual resources to help me succeed? When I say resources, I'm referring to money out of their own pockets, not just time put into conference calls and back offices.

Think about it for a second, in the offline world all solid companies spend serious dollars to help ensure that their employees succeed, where can one find that on the internet? The top companies hire top salespeople and spend top dollars buying high quality leads to give to those salespeople. They do this because if those salespeople succeed by making sales, the company succeeds and makes money.

Why isn’t that strategy duplicated on the internet? It’s been around for decades in the top Fortune 500 companies.

In the past, network marketing has gotten a bad name because of its leaders’ failure to spend money to help the new guys make sales. In the past, these leaders didn’t have much of a financial incentive to help the new guys, they could make much more money making sales themselves. This lead to that 97% feeling left out and unhappy, they failed and cried foul, which resulted in the reputation that network marketing now has in some circles.

New network marketing companies have responded and created compensation plans that give true financial incentive to helping the new guys succeed, no matter how many levels below you they may sit. This has lead to a change in the behavior of a few of the top network marketers. They are starting to share the wealth and put actual dollars into helping their new team members succeed. They are creating huge advertising and marketing campaigns and putting their members on a rotator system which passes down high quality, targeted leads to each and every member.

As a result, these new members aren’t struggling in their initial foray into the business, they are making sales, gaining confidence, putting money in their pockets, and gaining the motivation to truly work the business. In addition, the people that these new members are bringing into the business are benefiting from these same resources, and the cycle continues.

The key to this “new wheel” is that people on board must carry the torch when they are financially able to. Once they have earned enough money through the business, they need to start using that income towards helping their downline make sales. This passing of the torch is what will truly give those involved the opportunity for a hands off, residual income stream that will enable them to live the lives of their dreams.

I truly hope that those involved with these types network marketing companies will see the benefit in this philosophy. There is so much money to be made, and these new compensation plans give the great marketers out there a financial reason to truly help the new guys. This could change the lives of so many people. All the positive energy derived from helping others succeed will bring forth so many possibilities and allow so many people to make their dreams a reality.
