Sorry I haven't posted in a while. For those of you who read my post about my big sale, I've been working my butt off to get the order finished!
Anyway...
A while back (2 months or so) I wrote an article about the need for Spanish language training for emergency personnel, and submitted it to a few artcle submission sites.
Today at work I was bored and was looking at Officer.com (one of the most popular police sites on the net) and saw an article about Spanish language and emergency personnel. I clicked on it to read it since it's basically about what my company does.
So I get about half way through the article, and out of nowhere the article starts quoting ME! They wrote a few lines about what I said and about my company. I about fell out of my seat. Then I got to the last paragraph, and the last 4 or 5 sentences are quotes from my article again.
I had no idea whatsoever that I was quoted in this article. It was just a 1 in a million chance that I even saw the article. I got some great free publicity, and I almost didn't even know about it.
Crazy stuff! I guess article submissions do work.
Here's the article. It's still on the front page of Officer.com
