Are you saying like a blog where all of the posts are made by visitors... kind of like eHow.com?

Create 10-20 posts and a page called "Become a Featured Author" (or something like that). This page should have a form where they tell you why they should be accepted as a featured author and what you expect from them.

When you think someone is for real, set them up an account and off they go!

Hopefully, you are using a WordPress.org installation on your own server. Just be sure you have your permissions setup properly and rock out!

Once your blog is setup and has content, drive traffic to it like mad

Josh is on it. He's so right about jump starting it with the 10-20 posts yourself first. If you make your article submission page professional enough (the entire site, actually)... people will be lining up to submit materials. If you don't design yourself, I would suggest paying good money for a design. Don't "free theme" it.

How about if the site was for people who would probably be busy like ceo's ? or entrepreneurs ? do you think the same method would work when the posts are supposed to come from ceo's ? thanks again guys!

It really depends on the value you provide in the site... hard to say without more details. Can you be more specific with your idea?

That a great idea bro! You've certainly got the value part identified.

Three recommendations, and I'll be vague here and just use keywords. PMs are great, but it doesn't allow for the rest of the community to be edified. I can expand more if you want to connect via skype.

    Revenue Sharing

One last thought, pertaining to your original question, now that I know more:

Build your site with basic pages explaining the concept and make the content area/category restricted to a certain level of membership. Then, find 10 entrepreneurs, offer them a piece of the pie or straight cash, based on their participation, to get things cranking!
