questions on licensing for eBooks (digital rights)

    Hi guys,

I am thinking about buying the rights to translate some foreign books into English and maybe make eBooks out of them.

If a book I want to translate uses tons of images, does owning digital rights allow you to literally scan the pages and sell it that way?

Also, does anyone have any good links or recommendations on where I can get more information on licensing/translating books?

You should take a look at the Gutenberg project. There are tons of ebooks on there and there may already be translations so you could save some time.
Form your LLC for only $39. Go to http://www.llcbuddy.com/
