Question with new company

Hey everyone... I have a few questions... I've been looking everyone on online and can not seem to get any information about this...

I'm sure you guys all have seen those adds on either the TV or radio like "text blink182 to 45454 and get blink 182 ringtones" etc.. anyway how does someone start a company doing this? Like I said I have searched google and can't find anything that helps.

I can't find anything on google but I would imagine you would need some type of server that receives the texts and processes them. Look for commercial texting software. What would you want to sell?
