Lightbulb Question: What Industries/professions are most reliant on Reviews?

So we have all used yelp (food), trip advisor (hotels) angies list (usually home services, roofers, plumbers, etc) but what other professions or industries will live or die based on their reviews? or would benefit from having a lot of positive reviews?

    I have come up with:
    • dentists or any other medical profession
    • auto/car dealerships
    • real estate agents?

What else is there do you guys think?

    Hi jmoney48,

Some more ideas you may want to add to the list may include:

    -E-books / books / media (i.e. Amazon)

    -Freelance workers (i.e. Odesk)

-Make money online sites / systems

-gambling websites (i.e. SBR / Covers)

    -video games / movies

I think reviews are becoming a huge part of how we all do business and they are really needed for almost any kind of product or service niche we could probably think of.

i was actually looking for more professions... aka people with money.
I am searching for clients who could afford to pay $300/month for real customer reviews.

All businesses are reliant on reviews. Word of mouth is the most powerful form of marketing.

How bout a review site for people that teach a musical skill? There are tons of piano teachers, guitar teachers..etc.. I don't know of one place that groups them all together in an easy to use site. A lot of those folks get paid 50+ a lesson.

I think currently APP developers for various platforms such as Android, IOS, Blackberry etc would really need lots of positive reviews. In fact even a few not so great reviews can completely ruin the prospects of a good app. On the other hand, few positive reviews could increase sales by a considerably margin.
