I really, sincerely want to know:

where did you get the impression that online matchmaking and classified for ventures selling equity is either a) legal and/or b) actually works?

I'm really interested to know whether you know at least one person who has bought equity from a stranger they found on an Internet website

Personally, I certainly don't know such a person, no one I know knows such a person, so I'm totally baffled for why these matchmaking shops are proliferating the way they do
