I have had businesses starting at age 6, the only full time busienss I had was from the ages of 30 to 40, have never not had a business but for the majority of my years have kept a full time job. Durring my twenties the wife stayed home and helped with the business and the business income always far exceeded my work income. Got divorced at 40 and went back to owrk but alwsy have maintained some sort of small business. Steve

I registered mine at 19 last year. I import into Australia from China etc, and wholesale/distribute those products. Also starting an online electronics company this year, direct from the manufacturers in China and big dealers in Hong Kong, so hoping it will do well!

    Hey Everyone,

I feel privileged to be in the company of all of you.

I've always had entrepreneurial tendencies and transformed that internal qualification into a business in July of last year, when I was 19 years young.

Primarily, I head up a network marketing organization, secondarily I do consulting and coaching for other like minded individuals in their personal and professional lives.

Mind if I throw an additional question into the mix?

In addition the original questions of this thread, what was your main motivating factor for starting your business?

My main motivation was the personal development that tends to follow an entrepreneurial endeavor. Communication skills, leadership development, team-building, relationship cultivation and management; I've had the opportunity to explore and sharpen these aspects of my personality and skill-set, I love that and continue to be motivated by it.
