    Question about EIN

I want to start buying inventory before I rent a building for my business. When applying for a EIN it asks for business address, but can I use my home address until I rent a building. If so, how hard would it be to change the address once I get a place?

It's not hard, you would just need to call back or fax them a change of address. You could also let them know thats a temp address.

I think yes, since you're still looking for a building, as a temporary you can use your home address.. It seems like it is a residential office.. Good Luck..

If you are using your home adress as office adress for IRS, you are able to deduct part of your rent from your taxes.
