Put your money where your mouth is?

Hello all:

I want to start a motivation/business blog. I have some good ideas and good solutions to problems that people face. But, my problem is that I don't have any explosive success in business to back up what I am saying. So what I am wondering is can I blog about motivation and business without actually having made a ton of money, etc to back up what I am saying? Would I be setting myself up for failure? Would this be considered fraud?
