I dont even think its a good system. I like both the Wii and 360 better. 360, IMO is the best.

The PS3 blows the Wii away in graphics. And it also has an HDDVD player. Something you can add on to the 360 for $200, and I dont think the Wii has the option.


I'm not defending a $500-600 system, but that's what the future holds for the next gen of systems. Wouldn't be surprised to see something close to $1000.

I think you meant PS3 has a Blu-Ray player. I think in the end, it comes down to whoever has the superior games... and right now XBox has the lead with Gears of War. But PS3's gonna storm back with the next generation Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Gran Turismo, etc..... I have the Wii myself, but i think they're in an entirely different market - not touting superior graphics but rather on gameplay.

No in the uk it uses PAL it was supposed to launch in november but there was a delay until march.

Get a Sega Genesis or DreamCast then. Save hundreds. Those two are honestly my favorite systems ever.

The PS3's graphics are superior to Wii. However, Wii is very entertaining and fun to play. PS3 is for the more serious players who like to war games. I would recommend buying "Resistance" for PS3. Its a really good game.

I've got two PS3s that i bought that are Region 2 (Japan/UK) .. All PS3s are exactly the same except for one thing, the Region Code. When you buy DVDs in the United States, there is alittle Globe in the bottom right or left of the box that has a number (1-6). US Region codes are 1 .. Japan and UK is 2. I bought these from a distributor. I bought a total of 5. One for myself and 1 for a friend and 3 to just sell. The region Code on my PS3 boxes is Region 2. If you want to buy it, I can ship it to you in UK. You can pay for shipping. I can take some pics of it. You'll be able to play Any game on the unit, just only Region 2 DVDs.
