    Question Proposal to an Investor

I was just wondering have any of you guys gave a proposal to an investor (group) and got your project completely funded and sponsored? If you did, can you let me know how you did it or if any one of you are planning to whats your style and technique...I'm just more curious and open to ideas so let me know! Thanks
Also whats the best way going about this? Hardcore and just pick a list and start calling down the list? (of course choosing the ones that have same interest as your project)

You need to pick and choose the investors who will look at your proposal.

Investors have certain areas that they invest in (technology etc). If you walk in with a proposal that isn't in their interests, you will look uneducated and unprofessional if they can tell you didn't do your homework first.

    Hey,

I am a small time VC. As Karen said make a clear presentation showing you know exactly what your talking about. Also make sure you contact investors that do share your intrest. The most important part is having a well thought out buiness plan and ways of proving your project will succed, without this no investor will give you a single penny. What are you trying to get started anyway? Maybe we can be more help that way.

    Good luck,

    Good luck,
We are getting ready to open a regulation size skating rink. Wants investors who can wait for repay until business opens. Have business plan, found property to purchase have all licenses and permits and non profit from the state of Washington. we are totally ready to roll with this. Have bids from all the contractors, floor installation etc and have put all of our money, which was not much, 3-4,000 into this, but need to raise 210,000 to buy building, and be totally ready to go and open doors.
