Producers/Manafacturers and having 'connections'

Hi I've had multiple ideas, some exceptionally good in my opinon. Out of all of them I'd obviously only work on the best one.

I need some quick pointers right now to help me with business development:

To manafacture a product or have somthing designed who do I go to? and how will I know that they wont steal my idea?


+Any recommendations on marketing/practical business book appreciated or links. Only the best.

btw I'm new, I trade stocks and I'm 18. In turn I can help you guys out with investing.

You have a couple of options with new products. You can sell the royaltys of the product to a company that manufacturers a similar product this is very risky and probley won't give you a very high return plus you will have a hard time trying to sell it to them. You can protect your idea through a patent although they are very expensive and if someone does infringe you have to have the money to take it to court or there is no point in getting a patent. You can also protect your self when talking to companies with a non disclosure agreement. Which is what i use and havn't had any problems yet. There are plenty of companies around that can take your idea from a sketch to a product but trust me make sure you have everything worked out make basic protoypes ect cause some times ideas in the head work alot better in theory. It is a very expensive procedure just to have a new plastic bucket made you are looking at 30-40k+. If you really believe in your idea go for it. And research research and research some more there is nothing worse then working on something for 6months to find out that it's already out there.
